We’re all on a journey. We are all being formed. For followers of Jesus, the desire is to be formed in his likeness and image. The difficult part is discerning what are the next steps we need to take to further our spiritual formation.
We want to help you discern the next steps
Rare is the individual self-aware enough to know all the areas of his or her life that need formation. So, by journeying together, we give each other an opportunity to ask questions like, “what’s it like on the other side of me?” “where do you see areas in my life that I need further growth?” “where is my perspective limited and in need of breadth?” “what is present in my life that is not in alignment with the teachings of Jesus and the scriptures?” “what about me is life giving, what is not?”
You have to own your journey, and part of that ownership is surrounding yourself with people who can help you discern the next step in your journey of faith.We want to help you in the process of discerning next steps. We want to be a resource to you. We will help you ask the tough questions (we’re still asking them of ourselves), we’ll partner you with a mentor (if that’s what you need and desire), we’ll offer different perspectives, we’ll open our homes, and we’ll offer our lives.
The process of discerning next steps is such an important one, and it is one that is best done together.
